POWER FLASH - FEEL GOOD FRIDAY

The annual “Dare to be Rare” Gala, arranged by Win The Day Charity, was held at the Canberra Arboretum on Friday 3^rd of November - these guys really know how to throw a party!

We were lucky to have received an invitation and we immediately said YES, it’s been a while since we have had the pleasure of supporting such a wonderful charity.

POWERHOUSE LOGISTICS is passionate about being involved in the community and when I dug deeper into finding out about Win The Day Charity, I couldn’t wait to meet Kristy Giteau (WTD Founder).

Win The Day Charity is a public not-for-profit organisation, established with the goal of assisting families financially with accommodation, meals, raising awareness, one-off-treatment grants as well as the funding of research related to rare childhood cancers.
 

Their mission is clear.
                “To alleviate the financial and emotional stress, and worry that families experience with their lives already in turmoil”.
 
After hearing Sophia and Natalia's story at the Gala, POWERHOUSE LOGISTICS was honoured to kick off the live pledges donating 12 months of meals, it was truly a privilege to be a sponsor of this event.
