In the late eighties, the founders of POWERHOUSE, who were then employed by large multi-national forwarding operations, became increasingly disillusioned with the concept of “big is beautiful”. They identified a vacuum in the marketplace for a professional, yet personalised international logistics service. In 1989, POWERHOUSE materialised from that dream and vision.

The first office was set up in Sydney and other offices were quickly established in Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide. Whilst POWERHOUSE has enjoyed considerable success and subsequent growth, they have not lost sight of their original dream and vision. The founders, who are still actively employed in the day-to-day operations, continually reinforce their beliefs that customers require creative solutions and desire personal contact.

Today, POWERHOUSE is still a 100% Australian-owned corporation employing in excess of 80 people in 6 offices across this continent.
