Shipping Lines will introduce a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) effective 01 September 2011 for all shipments from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philipines and India inc sub continent to Australia. 

This seasonal surcharge has been introduced to recover costs borne by carriers as a result of congestion. Vessel utilisation warrants the introduction of the peak season surcharge which will be monitored over time. When congestion and utilisation subside PSS will cease. 

Surcharges will apply as follows: 

USD300.00 per 20GP

USD600.00 per 40GP
